I haven’t yet jumped on the Left 4 Dead bandwagon, and I’ve heard mixed things. I tend to think it looks like fun, but I’m hesitant to jump on board anything that relies so heavily on multiplayer (a reaction to my World of Warcraft experiences, no doubt). I usually get into games for the long haul, and once your friends stop playing games like these, the fun quickly disappears.
Final Fantasy XIII apparently won’t see the light of day in North America until after April of 2010. That’s over a year away, for those of you who are time challenged. This is incredibly disappointing, especially since I don’t count Final Fantasy XII as an enjoyable experience. I used to count FF XI as an enjoyable one, but, well, see the above reference to online gaming.
The Dark Knight is back in theaters this weekend, and I’m hoping to find the time to view it on an IMAX screen one last time. This movie is simply breathtaking at that scale.
Hail to the Chief,
