I love me some original recipe KFC. It’s a known fact that I adore bacon as well. Add some monterrey jack cheese and a “zesty mayonnaise” and I will kneel before you and pledge my undying allegiance to your culinary art.

A lot’s been made about how terrible this sandwich is. How it’s unhealthy. How KFC is “going too far“. Do me a favor. Compare the nutritional stats of this with a Big Mac. I’m not saying a Big Mac is a sample of healthy food, but I don’t see the outrage for it that I’m seeing for the Double Down; poor defenseless sandwich whose only crime is not having a bun.
