I’ve never had a good experience with a mail order bride company. Of course, I’ve never had a bad one either, both outcomes the result of my having had absolutely no experience ordering foreign ladies for the purposes of matrimony. Absolutely none.
Noah, on the other hand…I think he orders one or two a week.
Steam is finally available for the Mac, with the first big Valve game available being Portal. Having played through Portal roughly 1,325,984 times, I was a little disappointed that it was the only Source game available. I was really hoping on reliving HL2 in my native OS. That’s not to imply that I didn’t play Portal. Again. OpenGL Portal is just as fun as DirectX Portal. Honest.
Magic Mouse is not acceptable for gaming, however. Looks like I’ll need to start packing my 5 button Bluetooth with me again.
I’m eagerly awaiting Left4Dead and its sequel to make their way to the system. I haven’t played either up to this point, but Noah’s had some time with the first on the console, and from his descriptions I gather it’s non-stop excitement. I like excitement that doesn’t end.
I bought the MW2 map pack. I’m not sure that it was a worthwhile purchase. The maps are fine, but they all suffer from the same problem that I always have with this game. It is impossible for me to get into and stay in a game with a “4 bar” connection. When you’re playing a split second behind everyone else, fun takes a back seat to control crushing frustration.
